quotes to help keep my chin up

I’ve always been a big fan of quotes.  Here are some that I need to remember to help keep my chin up while Clint is away…*

“You were given this life, because you were strong enough to live it.”

“Contrary to what the cynics say, distance is not for the fearful, it is for the bold. It’s for those who are willing to spend a lot of time alone in exchange for a little time with the one they love. It’s for those knowing a good thing when they see it, even if they don’t see it nearly enough…”

“Be patient and tough; someday this pain will be useful to you.” -Ovid

“Missing someone gets easier every day because even though it’s one day further from the last time you saw each other, it’s one day closer to the next time you will.”

“Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, its about learning how to dance in the rain.”

“Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.”

“Distance between two hearts is not an obstacle, rather a beautiful reminder of just how strong true love can be.”

“Every tomorrow has two handles.  We can take hold of it by the handle of anxiety, or by the handle of faith.”

“Your journey has molded you for your greater good, and it was exactly what it need to be. Don’t think that you’ve lost time. It took each and every situation you have encountered to bring you to the now. and now is right on time.” -Asha Tyson

“You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.”

“Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it’s troubles…it empties today of it’s strength.” -Mary Engelbreit

“You can kiss your family and friends good-bye and put miles between you, but at the same time you carry them with you in your heart, your mind, your stomach, because you do not just live in a world but a world lives in you.”  -Frederick Buechner

  1. Funny how quotes can make you feel so much better isn't it? Even though they weren't originally written or spoken for me, sometimes it's like they were intended to be! Thanks for stopping by the blog!
